The Worst Things in Lisbon – My Personal Opinion!

Are you planning to visit Lisbon soon? Well, there are some things you need to know before packing your bags and boarding that plane! In this video, I’ll be sharing my personal opinion on the worst things in Lisbon. So, get ready to listen up!

Public Transportation

Let’s start with the elephant in the room – the public transportation system in Lisbon. I have to admit, it’s not the best. The metro is always crowded during rush hour, and don’t even get me started on the buses. They are never on time, and it’s just not reliable. Plus, the trams are a tourist trap. You’ll always be overcharged for a ride just because you’re a foreigner.

Hills

If you’re not used to hiking, Lisbon can be a real challenge. I mean, who needs a gym membership when you have to climb hills just to get to your destination? It can be exhausting, especially during the summer months when the heat is unbearable. But, on the bright side, you’ll get some great views when you finally reach the top.

Pickpockets

Lisbon is notorious for pickpockets. They are everywhere, especially in tourist areas. You have to be very careful with your belongings, especially your phone and wallet. I’ve heard so many horror stories from tourists who had their stuff stolen. So, make sure you keep everything close to you and don’t let your guard down.

Street Food

Okay, this one might be a controversial opinion, but hear me out. I know Lisbon is famous for its street food, like the pastel de nata and bifana sandwiches. But, let’s be real – not all of it is good. You have to be careful where you eat, or else you’ll end up with a stomach ache. Plus, some of the prices are just outrageous for what you’re getting.

Tourist Traps

Last but not least, let’s talk about the tourist traps. Lisbon is a beautiful city, but there are some places that are just not worth the hype. Take the Belรฉm Tower, for example. It’s always crowded, and you have to wait in line for hours just to get in. And when you finally do, it’s not even that impressive. There are so many other hidden gems in Lisbon that are worth exploring.
