This campaign aims to raise funds to open the Lisbon Crypto Hub as Lisbon has been the most crypto-friendly city in Europe, amongst other capitals all over the world.

Reason:
Opening a hub in Lisbon will help the whole ETH ecosystem to get together in an enchanted city, with 260 sunny days per year, beaches, nature, affordable costs and exemption from taxes on crypto earnings. Also, the 3rd safest country in the world, where weed is legal to use, and received over 27 million tourists in 2019. Besides all this greatness, Portugal has an official visa for digital nomads who earn at least 2,700€ per month.

How will it look like?
The venue will be inspired by the solarpunk mentality, regenerative resources and high-tech equipment. Cosy, sophisticated and eco-friendly. It's fundamental to have an architect working on the team in the early days to help to find out the best use cases of the venue and get the most out of it inspired by the internet culture mixed with the local architecture of Lisbon.
Who's running this?
This project is brought by Raphael Racor, a Portuguese-Brazilian human being living in Lisbon for 7 years, a marketer, community manager, music producer, creator of Doinlisbon.Com, and one of the co-producers of ETHBCN in 2022, a production assistant at ETHRIO in 2022 and Protocol Labs Summit in Lisbon in 2022 in service of Peregrine and DoinGud DAO. The project is community-driven and it's open to everyone who's part of the community to vote and have a proper space to share their opinions, ideas and live with like-minded people in web3.
How will the venue work?
The venue will open as a co-work space during the day and host talks, workshops, events, concerts, art exhibitions and parties during the afternoons and evenings. A perfect blend corresponding to the new era opening right in front of our noses, where people can get their earnings in crypto, pay in crypto and have ownership of their assets in an IRL context.
For instance, the venue should be open at 8 am for co-workers and closed by 2 am after bar/party time and have 24/7 access for members.
Such space doesn't exist in Lisbon and it needs to become real! With your help WE'RE GONNA MAKE IT.
